Trips and Activities
Joseph and I took a trip to NC while the rest of the family went to ID. We enjoyed Conference, time with family (a different house almost every night), and a trip to Busch Gardens for some epic food and rollercoasters.
Joseph completed his 6 hours of driving with the instructor for driver's ed. We need to get the rest of his hours in ASAP. He's doing really well despite the lack of practice. (Not moving really threw things off with getting the whole process started.)
Birthdays and Holidays
Kenny turned 14 while in Rexburg! I made sure to print him some Brandon Sanderson-themed things before we left for our trips.
The family went to a surprise bday party for Devin's 40th. (I was sick.)
Weather
We finally got enough snow for a snowman!
Sickness
I got a really bad cold after my trip. It took me almost 2 weeks to recover my energy.
Repairs
took the van in for some stuff we'd been putting off
got a new faucet for the kids' bathtub
replaced the fill valve on the kids' toilet
Projects
cleaned out the kids' closets and took a bunch of stuff to our storage unit (7.5 hours of work!)
had 5 showings, looked at 2 houses. no bites yet, and both houses were crummy.
More houses hit the market every day, and right now, there are at least 4 good options that we can afford and would work for what we're looking for. I'm hopeful that something will come through soon.
